New Beginnings

Photography

For the past 5 years, I’ve volunteered to help Meagan with her photography business. I mainly helped to shoot weddings or watch kids while she was with clients, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed working with Meagan doing photography (I love being around my kids regardless, 98% of the time at least). Over the past year or so, we discussed what it would look like for us to do this together, and we finally took the plunge and we’re going for it!

I’ve been officially employed as a photographer and editor with The Jepsons for a little over 6 weeks now (I guess I’m also the co-owner…). The pay is decent, but the benefits are GREAT!  Meg and I are very excited to inject some fun new things into our business which we believe will set us apart from others in our field because this business is an extension of us and the things we love. We are excited to bring you the amazing super powers of a husband and wife joining forces, great and friendly service, and timely wit, courtesy of me.

Here are some things we are working on:

Bridal Guide – Calling all brides and bridal couples! Meagan has been hard at work the past couple weeks putting together a bridal guide, a 74 page magazine that helps you organize and detail the things you need to make your real wedding day match the wedding day of your dreams. This bridal guide will prepare you for your engagement shoot, help you plan your wedding day itinerary, help you set expectations on your wedding day, and any advice or suggestions we have to share. Basically, this is a resource for you to help you on the journey from engagement all the way up through your wedding reception. And it looks great, by the way…you’re going to love it!

Blog – Yes, we do wedding photography. Our blog will include wedding photography for you to browse and enjoy. But believe it or not, we have other things going on in our lives other than photography. Sure, we will blog our weddings and share how were able to capture that perfect moment. We could talk about our equipment – what settings we use, what lenses we prefer, our shutter speed in different light conditions, ISO, tfjnafgijdflkjvnsdfbk avnsgiuwerhpajkdnfvarjf k;skofdv oksjdfljjjjkkkkkkkklllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Sorry, I fell asleep typing that. Basically, we are excited to blog about more than just wedding photography. Yes, we are excited to share all about our amazing clients, and we are also excited to share other parts of our lives. Be on the lookout for blogs on homesteading, DIY projects, family excursions and culinary adventures.

There are some other things we have brewing, but we’ll hold off on that for now…we don’t want to spoil the surprise!

Stay tuned…

-Adam
